Virtual Private Networking (VPN)

(Accessing campus resources from off-campus)

About VPN

A virtual private network (VPN) provides a secure and encrypted connection to the university's campus network from a computer located off campus. With a VPN connection, you can access restricted campus websites, university file servers (StudentFiles, StaffFiles and FacultyFiles), and the campus Exchange server.

To install and run our GlobalProtect VPN Client software, your computer must have:

  • A current version of a compatible Operating System (Windows or MacOS)
  • Updated anti-virus software (free downloads available)
  • A reliable Internet connection
